+++From the Journal of Major Z.Lockwood+++

I told her again and again that the distress signal we heard was so OLD and the ship so over run with 'nids that there would be no point in going in there to look for survivors or supplies. I've had enough experience with bugs to know that they'd've omnomed the lot.

But hey, YOU try keeping a Commissar away from a chance to blow the shit outta something. We'd been in orbiting Kulth for 2 weeks with no action so I guess she had the violent Commissarial version of blue balls.

In the end, it wasn't such a big deal. The bugs had long since run outta food and were pretty easy pickings. There were no casualties (although I suspect that Volpone guy made a masterpiece in his pants when that hormagaunt burst through the ceiling-heh)

I was mostly right though. We scoured through supplies and found sweet fanny adams, save for half a crate of ration bars, a carton of lhos (I quit, damnit) and 2 barrels of stale caff.

Then we get a comm from that praetorian girl telling us she's found a deactivated medical servitor. We decide to pick it up, seeing as we don't have any dedicated medical staff (me, Conrad and some others know field medicine, sure but beyond that...) Not that anyone here knows how to fix the damn thing.

Next week though, as luck would have it, we run into an old friend of the Commissars. This big, bolshy Rogue Trader by the name of Lincoln Sandhammer (what the hell?) who has a techpriest in his employ.

Damn queer one, mind you! The techpriest (who I later learned is called Ohmi "sexy-beam" Wierbowski) got the servitor in working order. Before we parted ways, Wierbowski told me to make sure I called it by its name, which according to her was "Dietrich" (since when did servitors get names? But like I said, she's one of those techpriests that are probably considered weird by other techpriests)

Dietrich has proven herself very useful though I gotta say. Always polite, faultless in her conduct- top shelf, really. I've seen her work everything from amputating a limb to fitting bionics to adding just 2 stitches to li'l Boones head when she over did it on the Joyliq and tasted pavement on Piety.

One thing bugs me though, and I admit I'm being picky here. Most servitors when they don't got anything to do will wait patiently in one place. Dietrich on the other hand, never ceases movement. Unless she's actually being recharged or repaired she just paces up and down the corridors of the ship, talking and singing to herself.

Doesn't seem normal. Then again, she's a fucking servitor.

She is still cute and still feminine.
Despite everything done to her.
Well, this is WH40K, there are fates FAR worse than this...
