Hit the select button to pose by Mr-Culexus Hit the select button to pose by Mr-Culexus
Really just trying to get the hang of working with one theoretical light source. S till needs a bunch of work, but iunno? Steps in the right direction.

If you know who this is, you'd be right in thinking 'why is he posing all badass?' which you may be right in thinking. He might have just posed for this photo using a wind tunnel. Or not.
Who know's what he's like? I'm hoping to shed some light on that some day.

Plague doctors with trenchcoats and guns.

Why?

Because in 40k, cancer wears power armour and shoots back.

Seriously though, nice action pose and mask. I like how everything is somewhat scruffy and worn aside from the mask and how the tips of the coat seem to bleed.

Thanks! Most things in the Inquisition are at least second-hand.

Nope. Everything in the Inquisition is first-hand, crafted and made specifically for the Inquisitor in question.

After all, non-Inquisitors don't count.

In the Ciaphus Cain books, the Inquisitor makes mention of the fact that the power armor she's wearing has had many previous owners and now smells bad. Inquisitorial power weapons are described as being passed down from generation to generation.

You're discounting the natural arrogance, prerequisite for the rank of Inquisitor, that leads them to assume that everything they own was created specifically for them, and that their gaining it was part of the God-Emperor's Divine Plan for Mankind, and that to say otherwise is BLAM!-able EXTRA HERESY!

Or maybe that's just my Inquisitor. Guy's a bit of a nutcase ^_^

Purity seals, high calf boots, distinct lack of bosom... combined with the inq seal on the head unit and the title and I'm scared to say that's probably Inquisitor Tobias Garrick Levy, as incognity as it is possible for him to be.

Thank you. (Though a 'bingo' would be slightly more welcome as that would mean confirmation :) )

Also he's using a Cravat. The only people for whom that is even remotely passable besides him are Gustav (the helm also suggest it could be him... if he were forced to slum for armor; on the flip side who would go slumming in incognito brown drape armor and then ruin it by adding inquisition emblems?), Redding and maybe McClannahan.
-None of the above are likely. So either this is another person's acolyte or inquisitor or henchman or this is Levy.

That never seems to occur to people in 40k. Out a limpet mine on a space marines back and he's fucked.

Any mine or weapon designated for any type of target tends to do that though.
Though in 40k I usually do one explanation as to why space marines do what they do; "In a world with very accurate and highly sophisticated sensors/auspexes, why would you bother with camo or sleeker design. When any turret can track you, and any sensor can find you." Atleast thats how I see the DAOT starting the process of the death of conventional warfare 21st century style. Better to slug it out in the thickest protection you can find mounted by the toughest stuff you can find, to do the fighting for you.
